Constantine Law Expands its Regulatory Practice with new partner hire

Tina Lakhani joins as sixth partner in expanding Regulatory team.

10 July 2025, Constantine Law, the consultant-led “agile” employment and regulatory specialist law firm has recruited a new partner, Tina Lakhani, to its growing regulatory team. Tina’s appointment comes hot on the heels of the recruitment of high-profile regulatory partner John Milner in March earlier this year and takes Constantine Law’s specialist regulatory practice to a headcount of six partners. The firm now has a total number of 17 partners overall and a total of 23 fee earning staff.

Tina joins Constantine Law from Irwin Mitchell, for whom she had worked for 15 years.

Tina is a highly experienced lawyer, police station representative and higher court advocate. She specialises in cases of financial crime, fraud and regulatory investigations, advising and defending individuals, professionals and corporations who are subject to investigation or prosecution. She has extensive experience of dealing with the FCA, SFO, CPS and in professional discipline investigations involving the SRA, GMC, GDC.

Tina also has experience in dealing with cross jurisdictional matters and dealing with matters involving mutual legal assistance. She regularly drafts policies in relation to bribery and money laundering for companies.

She has been involved in defending complex FCA civil, criminal and regulatory cases for senior executives and firms and has worked on numerous insider dealing cases including the first cross jurisdiction prosecution of insider dealing by the FCA. Other high profile FCA cases include LIBOR, and insider dealing cases include Operation Tabernula and Operation Saturn. Tina has also been involved in high profile SFO investigations including into Rolls-Royce.

She is also ranked in the Legal 500 for corporate crime services.
